DCDR is a foster-based rescue. We do not have a shelter. Our mission involves taking dogs from shelters where dogs are euthanized for time, space, or treatable medical issues and giving them a second chance by placing them in foster homes until final adoption.
Fostering rescue animals is a very rewarding experience, and having a safe place to go to is the difference between life or death for most of our dogs. Opening your home to a DCDR dog literally helps us save more lives.
