possible. It is not the best situation for them, as they all need to be learning to be good house dogs--improving their chances for adoption--and getting more exercise and attention than any boarding facility can provide. We have committed to each and every one and will see them through...but we need help.
Keeping 6 dogs in boarding costs us $1800 a month, which has drained our reserves and is, quite frankly, unsustainable. We are in real danger of having to shut down intake and cannot afford to take on any new medical cases. We are turning to our supporters for help by conducting a major donation drive to help
cover these boarding costs for the next month or two (or beyond, if necessary). If you support the work we do and want us to continue, please consider giving even a dollar or two, if you can. No amount is too small.
In the meantime, we will keep working hard to move these awesome dogs into the foster homes they so desperately need and deserve. So, if you or someone you know has any interest in fostering a rescue dog, now is the time! You can see a complete listing of the dogs who need new fosters (all of which are in boarding, except
one) on our current foster needs page.
