Due to the extreme temperatures predicted this weekend and heat advisories in effect, we are cancelling our adoption event at Big Lots 6/30 and 7/1.  We will announce the new dates when we are able to reschedule.

DCDR will be having a 2-day adoption event at the Big Lots at 4121 Shelbyville Rd. in St. Matthews, 6/30 and 7/1, 11am to 4pm each day.  Come join us for food, baked goodies, and lots of awesome adoptable dogs!!  You may just meet your new best friend!

This weekend, you have three different opportunities to come out and see us. 

On Saturday, June 9, from 12-4, we will have be having another adoption event at Green Room Coffee Shop, 3640 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy., Louisville, KY (in the same shopping center as PetSmart), where you can join us for lunch and baked goods, buy DCDR merchandise and meet some awesome adoptable dogs.

Also on Saturday, June 9, from 10-2, our Southern Indiana fans can come by our booth at the Rescue the Rescuers event at Lapping Memorial Park in Clarksville, IN.  We'll have awesome adoptable dogs at that one, too!

And, on June 10, we'll be out in support of Slugger City Bully Buddies at the Bullies and Chrome 1st Annual Poker Run/Charity Bike Ride.  Come celebrate all bully breeds with vendors, music, and good eats at Captain's Quarters, 5700 Captain Quarters Road.  Ride begins at 1pm.  Booths and after-ride fun from 3:30 to 8.  For more information on registration for the ride and poker tournament, click here!
